Bussin Cincinnati 2007

The First Rally in Cincinnati, Held at the FMCA National Office. Everyone got the chance to tour the office and the mail distribution center

There was also a tour of the local RailRoad Tycoons Rail yard, and private rail coaches. Perhaps someone may have got some ideas on something they could do to their motor coach.

The blue rail car was built in 1922 for Merriweather Post and her husband E.F. Hutton. The railcar was later purchased by Dewitt Chapel and was given the name Chapel Hill at that time. The Dome care in the station house is the personal car of Tom McOwen from Cincinnati. He is a long time friend of Paul Elbisser, and was instrumental in setting up the tour. After all he was the tour guide! For more info on these cars, or maybe book a trip check his website out at:

Meanwhile back at the Campgrounds!

There were seminars on thins such as: 120v electric by George Meyers, Plastic welding for tanks by Jerry Liebler, Planning for travel to Alaska by Steve Gibbs, and Toyota Hybrid factory tech by Lloyd Koppes. Also in case the ladies were not into all the tech there was basket weaving. The men were able to join in to if they wanted, But they declined.

Dinners included some Cincinnati only delicacies, and the soon to be famous Swimming pool Salad bar

Thanks to all who were able to attend! People came for places such as : Canada, Florida Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, just to name a few. Not sure if you are a local if you call the camp site mail centre you're address, but ther were a few of them too!
