From the beginning!
We Purchased our MCI coach from New Jersey. To drive it home we first had to take out all the seats. The Insurance we had needed it to be empty to classify it as a house vehicle. It drove better than the motor home we have! Then once it hit the driveway the buildup began.

| Raising the Roof | The decision was made to raise the roof. Ten inches seemed like a good number. That was until I decided to order the caps. The front cap comes in a 10" raise, but the rear is costing $300 extra since they only made one for a 8" raise. |
Starting on the Skin
We decided since the bus came from the factory with exposed rivets it was best to match. The bus also didn't have a skin that covered the entire side from front to back. so we are putting out sides on in pieces. This is making it easier to do in the yard.
| Rear Cap Install | The new skin is installed on both sides of the bus now, time to move to the caps. The rear cap they say is the easy one, so we started there. |
Front Cap
Just starting, make sure to check back later

| Floor Removal | Floor removal is a must for any proper conversion. This makes it alot easier to get all the crud out of the air ducts, even tho we may not use them. However it also gives a good view of any substructure than may need repaired or replaced. Also makes for a better conversion if the insulation is replaced. |
Windows
The windows have been installed. The bathroom will be installed after the intirior is started. Just in case we decide the layout needs more room one way or the other
| Water Bay | We are using the rear bay for the water storage tanks. |
Drop Ceiling
Making room for eletric and AC duct work in the ceiling. Along wth exhaust fans and other roof penetrations.
