After the skeleton was sand blasted and coated with an epoxy primer the skin was ready to go on. But before that we made a mobile platform with a material rack. We recommend using solid tires. I think we got to much weight for the air filled ones we used.

We also decided on pieces of steel instead of a full aluminum piece. Price was a main point. However since the bus has exposed rivets with seams we feel it will match. We will have to see if the metal will expand and contract with the weather the same.

We had a nice weekend in the middle of winter. So Mick and Paul Jr came over and we were able to get one side finished. We determined that we may have ben having trouble with filings falling behind the panel. So after we drilled it out we pulled it off and reamed the hole to remove any extra metal that may be hanging on.

On the front of the bus we will most likely redo the framework. We will find out once we test fit the cap. The same will most likely be needed for the rear.

We got good oozing on the inside. The rivets that hit the cross bracing needed to be drilled out a little on the inside. Just the cross bracing, not the whole thing. That way we didn't need to put longer rivets in. There needed to be some room for them to expand before they popped.
